FAQs

  • Any South Carolinian between the ages of 18-30 years old - regardless of where you call home in the state. While we love all members of our community, it’s important that we create spaces where young voters and leaders can gather, learn from each other, and be in community together.

  • We recognize traveling to Charleston may be a barrier for some folks - and we very much want you to be here. Thanks to our generous community, we’re able to provide 30 attendees with gas cards to reimburse for travel. At this time, we're only able to provide 30 gas cards and they'll be given on a first come first requested basis. Should we receive additional funding, we intend to expand this opportunity. Unfortunately, we're unable to cover flights or accommodations. If there's a significant barrier or need additional assistance, send us an email and let’s chat: hello@betheones.org

  • Epically fun! There will be trainings, workshops, group discussions, activities, games, and collaborative working & brainstorming activities. Also opportunities to get crafty, move, eat, and laugh. Basically a day you won't want to miss!

  • Of course! Lunch will be provided from one of our favorite local restaurants & there will be snacks, treats, and drinks for you to enjoy throughout the day. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know in the RSVP form.

  • Yes, please. We need to ensure we have enough food, swag and other materials to accommodate everyone that attends. We ask that you please RSVP by September 4th.

  • Yes! We're working on the final details and will be sharing more about our speakers, trainers, activities & more in the coming days. Stay tuned here and also be sure to follow along for updates on our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)

  • Please do! One of the coolest parts of this event is that it was an idea born out of several young leaders involved with Be The Ones who started talking to their friends about this event, and, well, here we are! Please extend the invite to your friends, family or other members of your peer groups and community.

  • South Carolina Young Voters Summit is hosted in partnership between Be The Ones and SOLVE. The event is a nonpartisan and neither organization or any affiliated event partners support or endorse any political candidate or party.

  • We’d love to hear your ideas! Please send us an email and we'll be in touch: hello@betheones.org
